Nowadays the reliable availability of electricity is expected by both industrial and residential consumers. However, generation, transmission distribution all pose engineering challenges in adapting to consumers sustainable directives while maintaining operational safety. The increasing demand for on consumer side growing number renewable energy sources (RES) generation are supporting spread capacity uprating methods. Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) a novel, cost-effective line management method with which system operators able utilize existing power lines greater efficiency than traditional techniques. While use DLR has many benefits, there also that have cope at system-level implementation. One most significant these find balance between required infrastructure implementation reliability implemented system. aim this article present novel methodology critical span identification based sensor measurements accurately represent prevailing conditions along whole overhead line. Contrary current methods, proposed analysis takes into account clearance conductors, provides compliance legal requirements. Furthermore, uncertainty caused using weather data determine local conductor annealing eliminated recommended method. This way flexible can be created meets needs, such as integration distributed or cross-border trade, same time it enhances safety lines.
